Typography Giveaway

It is finally my month to be Queen Bee at The Printed Fabric Bee.
Woohoo!
I chose Typography as my theme.  I didn't need to be able to read any of the type, I was more interested in text as art and I tell you, these ladies really delivered:

I love them all!!!

And now YOU have a chance to win the set of these one-of-a-kind fabrics.
Just leave a comment here or over on The Printed Fabric Bee's blog for your chance to win.  The giveaway will stay open until Friday, June 13th - it could just be YOUR LUCKY DAY!
After you leave a comment, go over to the hive member's blogs to see how they made their fabrics:

This is an absolutely fun group of fabrics. I love the line, and I think this type of approach illustrates the history of writing, from pictures, to more abstractions, to text bearing little or no connection to the meaning of the symbols, written, drawn, printed or whatever.

Text is such a great topic for fabric. I"m hoping to win the give-away!

Common theme --- yet all so varied. As an adjunct instructor in advertising & graphic design, I try to show my students many different ways to use their new skills such as typography so that they don't get locked into jobs or businesses that don't really suit their particular creative styles. They will love these samples, and I'm sure it will spark some interesting roundtable discussions and projects. Thanks!

I am intrigued and wowed by these beautiful fabrics. I can imagine some interesting uses to each & every one.

How inspiring! I think I'll experiment with some type/stamps on my dyed fabric. I am most drawn to those with type I cannot read and color variations. Thanks for the encouragement!

As words usually bounce around my head, often interfering with my creative process, how amazing these pieces of fabric are and I can imagine letting them do the talking for me! Thanks for the chance.

Love your choice "Typography" ! I was on Leslie Riley's Blog and saw all of the fabrics, how fun! The best part is now I know about you too, one of the best reasons for reading blogs is finding new friends. I was excited to just make the deadline. Thanks for the opportunity. Sheryl
