Never Enough Pictures with Friends

Image
The problem with going through my photos is realizing how many people I forgot to take photos of. It makes me very sad. But I'm grateful for the ones I did get. I really enjoy getting to visit with my friends in person while in Houston. If you are looking for photos of quilts, this isn't the post, just people here. Photos to remind me of the good times for those moments when I doubt myself. First and foremost are my Mistyfuse buddies.  Unfortunately Pat is missing, but these are the people I hung out with the most while in Houston. She journaled all across the fabric which represents her beautiful and strong daughter. The "batting" for this quilt is rope! She stitched between each piece of rope and left the ends out to fringe on the ends. You really have to see this one up close to see how amazing it is.  Jenny K Lyons had so many photographers trying to get her picture with her "Prairie Conversa...

I won a copy of this pattern so hopefully making it is in my future.  Of course a big part of the fun is being able to spend time with friends!
