Evolution of a Stamp

This stamp started as a quick sample in one of my classes.

I wasn't thrilled with the lettering, so I took more and more out, and then carved a second stamp to layer together.

 In the end I cut the letting off all together.

This star burst stamp started off with a lot of lines in the center. . . 


. . . but as I carved they eventually all came out.

 This rose stamp developed in the drawing stage from square to on point.

 I think I like it better printed in teal than red.
 Now to print off some fabric!
