National Museum of African American History and Culture

Took an afternoon to see some of the National Museum of African American History and Culture
My first priority was to see the visual art section.
Mothership by Jefferson Pinder

Black Jesus by Clementine Hunter

Praying Ministers by Jacob Lawrence

Walking by Charles Alston

No World by Kara Walker

Church Ladies by Sabra Brown Martin
Stopped in the cafeteria for a yummy lunch.

This artifact was particular touching to me.
Four hours was not enough time to enjoy even half of the museum.
I look forward to going back another time.
