First Day of Quilt Market

On the first day of Quilt Market I followed Judy Gula around like a little puppy. She only had one day to buy for her shop, Artistic Artifacts, and I just wanted to see the show from a shop owner's perspective. I bought my fair share of products too, but also got a few photos in.

One of the first things I noticed was this quilt made by my friend,
 Laurie Russman, aka NeonKittyQuilts.

I like bags, and I always have way too many of them, but these were a lot of fun.
Judy needed to stop and chat with Sue Spargo, and I just needed more photos of her products.

Every time I stopped by the R&K booth to say Hi to Cheryl Sleboda she was busy with a customer. I was very happy to see her so busy. I hope that means business is booming!

I really love Jamie Fingal's new line, "Heavy on the Metal." These photos don't show the shiny on the fabric but it's awesome. The best part is it is the shiny bits don't change the hand of the fabric.

This zipper fabric has to be my favorite part.
Next door was Leslie Tucker Jenison's beautiful new line, "Pollinator."
Lots of great depth in these fabrics.

Valorie Well's new fabrics really spoke to me too.
Especially because she is a printmaker.
Judy Gula and Valorie Wells discussing Shibori fabrics.

Hoffman fabrics digital panel "Dream Big" cut up and made in to a beautiful quilt.

Talking fabrics with the great ladies at Frond Design Studios!
Judy Gula, Me, Melissa Marie Collins, and Stephanie Brandenburg.
Threads at Wonderfil which I wanted to remember to buy later.
I bought about 6 of them. Or maybe it was 8.

My dinner companion that night at Moon Tower Inn.

There were some people with me too, but this little one was just so adorable I had to share.
